Podestà – Holiday House in Sabina
Podestà is a comfortable and romantic holiday home. Built, like the nearby church of SS. Pietro and Paolo, at the end of 1400s. It is located inside the village, overlooking the characteristic and charming Cicignano square. Thanks to its central position, one can look out over the alleys that surround it and see the magnificent landscapes beyond the roofs.
Its name, Podestà, derives from the person who inhabited it in the early twentieth century, a prominent figure of the local government bodies.
The structure consists of an independent building roughly 150 square meters in size, with private access, arranged on two levels. The first level consists of a large living room with fireplace, kitchenette, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The second level consists of two spacious bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and one of the two rooms has an additional room that leads onto a beautiful terrace. The outdoor space is furnished in a functional and comfortable manner allowing to enjoy a wonderful atmosphere whether it be in the sun or under the stars.
Upon arrival a welcome basket for breakfast will be waiting for you along with a small supply of wood to light the fireplace and make your holiday even more magical and unforgettable.
Podestà was completely renovated in 2020 using and recovering the ancient materials. The warm colours of the earth and the sun, evoke ancient sensations and a way of life that is now forgotten. The accommodation is particularly suitable for groups of friends and families and can accommodate 7 people. The spacious rooms, however, allow for additional solutions. - Times to be respected: in order to guarantee a stay of absolute relaxation, at Le Residenze del Borgo guests are asked to limit ringtone, music and conversation volumes from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please behave so that in no way will the tranquillity of others during any moment of the day be compromised.
